Cars are dollar signs. Cars are cheetahs. Cars are camels. Cars are trash cans. Cars are closets. Cars are a bank. Cars are kids. Cars are phones. Cars are letters. Cars are feet. Cars are computers. Cars are signs. Cars are beds. Cars are socks. Cars are clothes. Cars are containers. Cars are adults. Cars are experiments. Cars are volcanoes.

His skin felt like asphalt. Her arms looked like noodles. It's mouth was as big as a sinkhole. The holes were as deep as canyons. The pencil is as sharp as a knife. The clock sounds like a gong. The dog smells like a sewer. The chair felt like grass. The shoes looked like gloves. The table was as strong as a trust. The fish tasted like paper. His hat was as tall as the Washington monument. Her eyes were as deep and as clear as the natural spring. The water looked like plastic.

Some of my favorite metaphors and similes out of the blog that I find the most interesting are: Cars are camels, Cars are kids, His skin felt like asphalt, The holes where as deep as canyons, Her eyes were as deep and as clear as the natural spring, and the water looked like plastic.

  2. My favorite metaphor yo wrote here is "Cars are dollar signs." I like this one the most because for one I love cars and secondly it sheds light on today's pop culture in some areas. In places like Miami or L.A. your car says everything about you. If you are earthy then you drive a nice car. If you are average then you drive an average car. Shouldn't always be assumed but usually it is the case.
