I really like the metaphor that the sky is a blanket. It is a really good comparison between the two that I would've never thought of, but it works really well. Just like a blanket covers something, the sky covers the world. Brings a deeper meaning to something we all see everyday. I also liked the simile, "The stars were like freckles." it adds personification in a way to the sky. I liked that you were able to compare human qualities to something like the sky.
