Blog #9

“Oh sorry..” she replied still weary from the fight earlier. Giving off an almost dirty look, “Why are you by my door?” she asked confused. Jess ran back from the door suddenly realizing that if Anna didn’t slam that door, someone else did.
“Anna, I think someone’s in the house..” They both looked at each other, scared for their life as Anna’s bedroom door began to open. Their eyes locked on the door while they stood frozen in shock as they saw the tip of a black pair of men's shoes peak it’s way to the hallway. “Anna...Anna…” Jess’s voice was shaking and she was hitting Anna’s arm almost robotically. “Anna...this is why we lock the AHHHHHH”

“Oh sorry..” she replied still weary from the fight earlier. Giving off an almost dirty look, “Why are you by my door?” she asked confused. Jess ran back from the door suddenly realizing that if Anna didn’t slam that door, someone else did.
“Anna, I think someone’s in the house..” Jess' face was full of fear. She looked at Anna with watery eyes. "Anna.." Anna turned her head slowly, almost too slow for comfort, and grinned. "Anna…what-what are you making that face for…" Jess' voice was quivering at this point. She took a step back from Anna in fear. Anna burst out in laughter. "HA Jimmy we got her!!!" She screamed back toward her door. Jimmy, Anna's boyfriend of two years, scurried out and the two of them were laughing historically. "You should've seen your face!" Anna said gasping for air between laughs.
"That's really not funny Anna" Jess said as her voice broke and tears began to fall from her face. "You knew what happened to me at home" she said crying as she ran back to her room. The room drew cold as Anna and Jimmy's laughter came to an abrupt stop. "Jess-wait!" Anna called after her. "What happened at home?" Jimmy asked with a voice full of inquiry. "Jess, stop, I'm so sorry" Anna approached the door only to have it slammed in her face. "I deserved that" she mumbled and looked down at the floor, knowing how insensitive she had been, she began to sob.

“Anna, I think someone’s in the house..”
"Oh relax, you're exaggerating"
"No Anna, I'm serious your door slammed shut right before you walked in" her voice was almost trembling at this point. Monotone, Anna replied "Jess, I didn't lock the door, I get it, you don't need to play these games, I'm sorry, I'll do it from now on. Jeez" Anna started back to her room.
"Anna I'm really not kidding! Please come back here" Jess said walking backwards toward the front door. "ANNA STOP!" she was crying at this point, so fearful as to what was to happen.
"Jess, no one's her-" Anna froze. The room went still. She watched as before she could get hold of her doorknob, it twisted itself. "Jess..JESS" She ran back toward Jess and the two of them stared waiting to see what came out of the room. Nothing.
"Call the cops." The girls ran out of the house screaming bloody murder.
Inside the house however, the door opens and Jimmy-Anna's boyfriend of two years-stood. Her bed covered in rose petals and candles lit. In attempts to surprise his girlfriend for their two year anniversary he snuck in knowing the door would be open. He stood confused as to why the girls were freaking out, "Last time I try to surprise her….damn." And with a huff and a puff, Jimmy stormed right out the house.
